About Me
STORYTELLER . ETHNOGRAPHER . WRITER .
My name is Carlo Brando Zepeda, and I am thrilled to embark on this new adventure. I eagerly anticipate sharing my personal experiences and the captivating stories of other gifted storytellers, both familiar and undiscovered. Stories possess immense power to motivate, enlighten, instill purpose, drive progress, and advocate for equity and justice.
I wish I could tell you whether the title of my digital magazine—Keep Stories Alive, is the brainchild of a brilliant marketing team or coined by a savvy public relations agent. Neither a publishing editor nor a web designer has a hand in conceiving it. The stories that we tell each other are valuable. They capture the essence of who we are, where we come from, and what we believe. They give us a sense of belonging and help us to understand the world around us. Unfortunately, many of these stories are lost forever when their narrators pass away, or communities stop sharing them.
